Dr Schmidt is a very caring doctor who takes time to explain your issues and answer your questions. You are not just a number to him. I highly recommend him.

Dr Schmidt listens intently, questions thoroughly, documents every detail, and doesn't pre-diagnose before he has all the facts. He spent more quality time with me in just gathering all the facts surrounding my issue than I've spent with any other Doctor, and I'm 60. My only regret is that Dr Schmidt can't be my Primary Care Physician.
Dr. Schmidt is an extremely kind, caring and competent physician. I was extremely fortunate to have received emergency care from him in 2016 when I was visiting family here. When I moved here there was no question that I would choose Dr. Schmidt and his staff to be my gastroenterology caregivers. I definitely recommend Dr. Schmidt at Texas Digestive Disease Consultants.
Very thorough. Conducted patient teaching
Dr. Schmidt was fantastic. What made it better was seeing that the practice was full of amazing, friendly people. I was nervous ablut the procedure right up until I walked in and was greeted by the nicest staff. The nurses were so friendly and explained every thing perfect. My recovery was perfect. Nobody wants a procedure like this, but having such a caring and amazing staff makes it so much easier.

Dr. Schmidt is a wonderful physician. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. He never makes me feel rushed and has a professional yet friendly manner. Dr. Schmidt was recommended to me by my husband and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr Schmidt was great with information prior to procedure. His staff reflected that same commitment of providing information and care for the patient.
