Dr. Nguyen Good Doctor, but getting through to his staff and scheduling are very poor. I had an apt. cancelled with 1 day notice, and they could not offer me rescheduling for another month. Be prepared for 20 min waits on the phone. And late afternoon phone calls from his office rescheduling. What a disaster. I just needed test results prior to surgery, and they do not offer telemedicine apts.

Tri saved my life. In my case he was presented with a patient which had just gone through 45 minutes of CPR in the E.R . The ER staff went above and beyond to keep me alive while waiting for cath team to be assembled ( at the time it was Deer Valley Hospital)) Shocked 23 times had no pulse and had suffered a severe heart attack. He performed an catheterization installing a stent in my LDA which was nearly 100% occluded . He did this while I had no pulse and was receiving CPR. Dr Nguyen is very good at explaining procedures, the side effects and recovery time. He is very friendly and took time explaining the treatment for my mother.

Had a TEE done by Dr Nguyen and was told that I did not have PFO. Neurologist did bubble test and it showed there was a hole. Tried to schedule visit with Dr Nguyen and was told 6 month wait but could see other cardiologist in office. This dr requested several test to be done including cardio X-ray - after several hundred dollars spent the test was inconclusive and office would not go over results with me because they claimed they did not have any results; waited another 2 weeks and called office again and was told no result... read more

I’m a 911 paramedic and needed an emergency cardiac procedure that was preceded for a scope where my esophagus was torn causing me a 3 week stay in the hospital. My insurance picked up most of the bill but I had some out of pocket expenses. I wrote Dr. Nguyen and explained what occurred, told him I’m not a fan of lawsuits and simply asked him to cover the out of pocket expenses. I went in for a cardioversion and prior to it I had a TEE scope and Dr. Nguyen accidentally poked a hole in my throat and I ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks after and lost a bunch of weight. I spoke with his worthless office manager who was rude and unhelpful. All I asked for is they cover my hospital out of pocket and they refused to pay me a nickel saying the negligent injury was an "inherent risk." I wouldn't send my dog to this quack.

He has great attention to detail and care over his patients . He is kind and personable as well as knowledgeable. He saved my grandmas life and now I feel like I am in good hands also!
