Very caring, very knowledgeable, functional doctor
Awesome, she's like an encyclopedia of knowledge. She's hard to get a hold of at first but when you're a patient of hers she makes time for you. Very easy to talk to, empathetic, smart, and thorough. She's not in network with anyone so ask your insurance what's covered beforehand.
Dr Varella has poor communication skills. I was taken advantage of when Dr Varella ordered several diagnostic tests for me that were not covered by my insurance. After $1,500+ spent on unneeded tests, Dr Varella advised me to eat a Paleo diet. Absolute waste of time and money!
