seen Tom Cunneen twice but his consultation process doesn’t seem to go much into details. He was very abruptly short and possibly gives the “he is too busy” impression. Felt much uninvited on both occasions. It leaves you thinking he is not interested in his patient’s eyes or wellbeing. However the front desk staff seem friendly and helpful probably because they have to collect money off from me. Great facilities and even better staff, finally glasses free after 20 years wish I had done it sooner.
The whole team from reception, the anaesthetist, optometrist (Dr Nayha Patel Hopkins) and the surgeon (Dr Tom Cunneen) where caring and thorough. The operation and recovery was virtually painless. It is an expensive exercise but I would do it again tomorrow because of the great outcome they have achieved.
Was referred to see Dr Tom Cunneen for cataract surgery , he doesn’t really show much interests in listening to his patient. Thought would still give it a shot giving him benefit of doubt for being busy. Töm is very pushy with the number of surgeries you commit to and came up quite looking annoyed with me when I don’t wish to pursue additional surgeries. All round excellent care, treatment and attention to detail. Andrea the Practice Manager explained full details. Was very personable but professional. Dr Cunneen was the same. The team at the Eye Hospital were also excellent. Would highly recommend this team.
