Dr. Haller is very very thorough and does a more complete exam than you will ever have. I dont know why all eye doctors aren't this complete. He is knowledgeable and very nice. Staff is very sweet and skilled. Front desk is so nice. They are amazing eye doctors and the hi tech office makes you confident in their skills. They are great with both adults, kids and elderly. I see why they are ranked #1 in Queens

Dr. Melvin takes care of multiple family members and friends. He is the TOP name when speaking to other doctors about who is the best in Queens. They always say Dr. Melvin Haller. Office is amazing, Staff and front desk are super sweet and knowledgable. I never had a problem there, ever! They are awesome. Equipment and testing are state of the art. I highly highly recommend for kids and adults!
Booked for 1pm appointment, arrived 10 minutes early, and waited an hour. 40 minutes into waiting, I asked when I might be seen, and the receptionist said, You just got here! No apology, just hat. The waiting room was completely filled with people. Clearly they just schedule lots of people regardless of actual availability.
It was the worst. 1 hr 40 min initial wait, so had to go feed my 2 hrs meter. Then without ever being asked what I was there for I got an eyeglass prescription and not a word. So I said I don't need this I came for contact lenses. Oh I don't do that, the doctor said the girls will take care of you. Well I will cut it short, the girl would not take the same insurance I handed over originally and which covers contact lenses. Then they gave wrong price info on top and wrong type of lense.
