Every call made to this office a minimum wait time of 20 minutes on hold only to get some in Miami with a barking dog answer the phone. Only physician we have consistent issue with paperwork!
Don’t bother to sit. I was his patient for over 10 years, only saw him once. Even when asking for him specifically. If you have a cold - fine. But if you have real health issues. Run from Max Health - Best Value - or whoever they decide to be tomorrow. They will leaving you hanging with medication management. They can ruin your life. RUN
Prior to 2022, they were great- loved Jean - nurse and billing was always correct-I only go once a year for my yearly wellness physical and labs -no cost to me if coded correctly. . In 2022 and 2023, they miscoded the lab work-stating I had conditions that is why they needed the blood work and the office visit was for follow up. Poor handling of referrals/authorizations. Rude and dishonest staff. Delayed a chest CT for 18 months in my fiancés case. Overlooking an Aortic Aneurism. He had to get a new Doctor to get the test done. His loyalty to Doctor Clarkson after being his fathers patient for decades almost cost his life. Sometimes the apple does fall far from the tree.
Dr Clarkson has been my Dr for many years. He is kind ,caring ,and always very professional . He is honest and I can communicate well with him. I feel very lucky to have him as my Dr.
This review is not about a single visit, but an evaluation of an ongoing experience with Dr. Clarkson. I have been using the Oakhurst Medical Clinic for 3 years. Occasionally, the staff will let me down with lack of follow-up, but overall the staff would rate 4 stars. Dr. Clarkson is proactive with my health and always available to see me, either in person or remotely via teleconference. He is one of only a handful of doctors I have had since moving to Florida 9 years ago that I would rate at 5 stars.
Office staff very rude for my first appointment had make one month in advance conferment it twice then 18 hours prior to appointment wanted me to change it later in the day!!
Great doctor. Very attentive, thorough, never long wait times.
