Dr Atkinson is a superb Orthopedic DR. He fixed my shoulder with arthroscopic surgery after being patient with me trying alternative methods to fix. Now 90 days out I’m almost 100%. He is knowledgeable, professional, has a great staff. Couldn’t ask for better!
Dr. Atkinson had done both of my shoulder replacements which couldn't have been any more ideal. So it goes without question to have Dr. Atkinson do my knee replacement . However this procedure was not exactly ideal, I was so spoiled with the short recovery of my shoulders I assumed the same for my knee, I was wrong! Dr. Atkinson did my shoulder surgery early January. I finished up my Physical Therapy and I have full range of motion in my shoulder. Todd is a class act and very caring about his patients. The staff at the office are all very pleasant and professional.
My experience with Dr. Todd Atkinson and his surgical team was absolutely outstanding from beginning to end. I had shoulder surgery in May of 2025, and I can honestly say choosing Dr. Atkinson was one of the greatest decisions I could have made—the best surgeon in SWFL for sure.
From the first visit, Dr. Atkinson has always shown an interest and concern in my issues and was able to diagnose correctly that some other doctors had missed. He scheduled a surgery for me and I just had it done yesterday, he’s very thorough very knowledgeable and I am so excited that my issues will finally be taken care of! He is kind, considerate, and I felt like he got what I was trying to explain.
