My dentist recommended extraction of my cracked tooth. I agreed to this plan. Despite multiple injections of topical anesthetics, my tooth was markedly painful so the tooth was not extracted. I then made an appointment with Dr. Skane to save the tooth. Dr. Skane made three injections of anesthestic. He identified the points required to generate anesthesia. The affected region was completely numb. I experienced no pain during the procedure. I am glad that the tooth is viable. I am grateful.

My appointment with Dr. Skane was nothing short of awful. His "bedside manner" leaves a lot to be desired. I drove an hour, knowing I probably needed a root canal, which he confirmed. I left and had another endodontist perform the procedure, because I was made to feel like I was an inconvience to him. Yes, apparently Dr. Skane was voted #1 among his PEERS. Key word..."PEERS," not patients. Even if his peers were his patients, he deemed them important enough to be on his best behavior, I'm sure.
He misdiagnosed me and recommended an expensive unnecessary procedure. I saw someone else who fixed the issue fairly quickly and competently.
