I had a revision facelift performed by Dr. Marten. I highly reccomend Dr. Marten. He is amazingly talented and also compassionate and professional. Dr. Marten's staff is unsurpassed.
Dr. Marten is one of the best Doctors I have seen and one of the best Plastic Surgeons in SF. I had a face and neck lift. Operation went smoothly and I stayed the night at his surgical center being taken care of non-stop. 8 Months since surgery and result are amazing. Office is run perfectly and the staff were always there to help and were very responsive. It has been a little over a year since my facelift, eyes and fat grafting with Marten and I look amazing! The scars are so miniscule that even my dermatologist has a hard time finding them. It took awhile to look normal (3 months)and things are still settling nicely, as he advises it sometimes takes longer than a year for the healing to be 100%. Dr. Marten performed a facelift that left large, very visible scars. He tells me the same thing that everyone else on this site has heard - it will get better in time. It's been five years, and I've been back to see him a number of times with no resolution. I'm very unhappy with results. I wish I had seen this site and these other comments before I had surgery.

Dr. Marten is a true Artist! He pays attention to every detail and the results are amazing... He is kind, attentive, understanding, and listens to your needs. Dr. Marten lectures all over the World and is renown for his work. His office is State of the Art, his staff is friendly, accommodating, and very professional. I am very pleased with the lower SMAS face lift and neck lift I had done in mid-August from Dr. Timothy Marten. My biggest concerns were: a loss of facial fat, jowls, an ill-defined jawline, and very bony, aged-looking hands. Dr. Marten changed my life -- he made me feel young and vital again. At 54, a couple of years ago, I avoided looking in the mirror. Dr. Marten changed that. Dr. Marten performed liposuction and autologous fat transplantation on me and did it in all the wrong places, leaving me with not only cosmetic problems, but physical ones of astronomical proportions. It has been 11 years and I am still in pain from his faulty work for which he would not accept responsibility. I would advise anyone considering him for this type surgery to look elsewhere!
