Rude, uncaring, condescending, and unprofessional. I wish I had seen these reviews before I visited him. He isn't prepared when he sits down with you. He rushes through the exam, complains about how busy he is, and shows such apathy toward his patients (well, I can attest to my experience with him), that you just want to leave and see someone else who may actually CARE. Baptist should be ashamed for employing this man.
KUDOS TO DR. LUCEY AND HIS STAFF!! My experience with Dr. Lucey is very positive. He was referred to me by my dear friend who is in her 70's, that I would trust with my own life. I am in my latter 50's. My friends and I are research queens/kings. We do not go to any doctors lightly and do a proper investigation if through reviews or with the DOH. "Doctor" Lucey is extremely unprofessional, arrogant, and rude. He talked over me, was sarcastic and rude, does not care what is best for the patient, and has an attitude of superiority stating that he will not do peer to peer reviews with insurance companies because he will never get a "peer"on the phone so it's a waste of his precious time. He is the most abnoxious, rude unprofessional I've ever seen or met. 65 yrs old an NEVER been humiliated by any doctor.
Dr Lucey is extremely rude and condescending. He kept interrupting the patient and talking down. He dictated his notes during the visit and looked at the patient and looked at the patient and raised his eyebrows at the parts that were instructions. This guy is awful!
Dr. Lucey is one of the MOST thoughtful and considerate physicians i have had the pleasure of being with. Please do not be strayed away by the other reviews. If you truly want a physician that will not sugar coat the information that is going to potentially be life saving to you then go no further. If you have another option take it. This doctor does not seem to care if his patients get better or not, at least not some patients. When you have to ask repeatedly for treatment that could make a big difference to your recovery or when not given your permanent lack of recovery, repeated asking before you can get something as simple as medication, something he should have suggested himself as the doctor, that means your doctor has a problem at the least and is negligent with your care at worse. Dr. Lucey is very thorough and honest. His bedside manner made me feel comfortable and heard. He spent a lot of time discussing my condition and concerns. His office staff is very friendly and accommodating! I would highly recommend going to him.
