Dr. Weathers is the best doctor I've ever met. She just delivered my twins and did an amazing job. They were big and healthy and my scar is tiny. Best possible outcome. She's efficient but thorough. I trust her completely. I felt she was respectful of my choices and opinions- I wanted a c-section. I didn't feel "tricked" into it. She would have done a great job with a vaginal birth for them too, but that wasn't my choice. I can't say enough about her. She's awesome.
I'm currently undecided. In the hospital during an emergency visit she was the doctor in charge. She was so nice and so funny really acted like she cared. So much we switched our doctor to her. Now that I'm her patient I feel like she isn't what she was that night in the hospital. I feel like if I'm concerned about something that she doesn't seem to care. Dr Weathers is the best Doctor I have ever had for my pregnancy and now after. She was amazing for all of my care in pregnancy. It was our last baby and it seemed like nothing was going as planned and she always spent extra time to explain and respect all of our questions. We were very worried because we lost our insurance and we thought she would treat us differently. She never even mentioned & actuall did not know when I asked her. Dr. Weathers has proven to be both knowledgable and caring. Her friendly, bedside manner definitely puts you at ease about your concerns. Dr. Weathers is great about explaining procedures and options. I highly recommend Dr. Weathers.
If you are looking for a doctor who respects the birth process and a womans rights and body PLEASE chose someone else. This is a doctor who will act like she agrees with your plans and give you a false sense of security until she has you in a vulnerable state. Threatens and manipulates and uses your contractions to her advantage. Basically she is the doctor you read about in those horror doctor birth stories.
Dr. Weathers' bedside manner, work ethic, and dedication to her patient's welfare is truly exemplary and is quite refreshing in the modern age of managed care where physicians are rushing the patients in and out of the office. She takes the time to listen and has a genuine interest. These are not skills taught in medical school. One either has it or not. She's a gifted physician and an asset to her community.
Can't say enough good things about Dr.Weathers! She is very friendly and understanding! Never a long wait time at office and her staff is very friendly and helpful!
