Dr. Shelton was one of the smartest, most beautiful and compassionate women I have ever met. In a very stressful and uncertain time in my life, she put my mind at ease and cared about me as a human being, not just as a patient. Wonderful doctor and surgeon! Very knowledgeable, kind, thorough and understanding, patiently answers all of your questions and concerns, great bedside manner, not rushed in and out like cattle. Office staff were equally as kind, knowledgable and helpful. Thankful that she has chosen this area for her practice. Excellent surgeon! Dr. Shelton did emergency surgery on my adult daughter. I was out of state and she called me and explained what she was doing and why. She went the extra mile to bring her back to health. Couldn’t ask for a better doctor.
Dr. Shelton is a wonderful surgeon. She is a very personable doctor and goes out of her way to make her patients comfortable. She discovered that my bowel had a perforation. Her discovery and resulting surgery saved my life. She placed a temporary ileostomy that I had for a couple months. She did a second surgery and reversed my ileostomy (reattached my bowel) and did a great job. She also repaired a long abdominal incision I had and her revisions were remarkable. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Shelton.

Dr. Shelton did a punch biopsy on my arm. Did an amazing job, and even played with my son while removing my stitches. She is an excellent, compassionate physician and I would definitely utilize her again.
