I have had a wonderful and caring experience with the whole office. Yes you should prepare to be there for at least 2 hours but it's worth it Dr. Uilhein is very thorough. When I leave there I know I was taken care of by a very knowledgeable caring Doctor.
We had an appt for 9:15am. Was seen relatively fast.put in a separate waiting room for over an hour. Placed in another exam room waited for the doctor for 20 min. He’s not very talkative. And doesn’t explain what he’s doing before he does it. He jusy out a bunch of stuff in my husband eye. Then he said he dilated his eye and sat us BACK out in the waiting room for an hour. Then back to an exam room to wait on him. We were there for OVER 3 hours. Do not recommend at all
I saw Dr. Thomas Uihlein at Wheeling Hospital Ophthalmology for dry eye treatment, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I declined the eye pressure test during the pre-check, and that decision was noted in my chart. After waiting an hour to see him, he attempted to perform the test again without any explanation.
