Developed a surgical site infection during my hip replacement. The hospital and OR were a mess. Terrible bedside manner. Had to go back a few weeks later to get another hip which was not pleasant. He shared with me the infection rate was less than 1% which is very hard to believe. A pic line was inserted and left in for 4 weeks. My hip is still not right and hurts from time to time!
