Excellent bedside manner. Caring and knowledgable. Applies his deep understanding of heath to himself and is an exceptional hiker and naturalist, having scaled Everest, Kilimanjaro and other world class peaks.
Double disc cervical fusion surgery on my neck approximately ten years ago- was told in recovery that I MIGHT have a SORE SHOULDER, because it was hard to get me realigned.. (I have mild scoliosis- have never been aligned) Went home with “inexplicable” 8/10 nerve pain in my shoulder, radiating down my arm to fingers. Life changing, not in a good way. Trying to get answers, I returned many times to Norton’s office- was told that there was no reason why I was in pain, pushed aside to another Dr- who didn’t help and essentially... read more
I saw Dr. Norton for multiple spinal problems - I have DDD, herniated discs, foraminal stenosis, arthritis and retrolisthesis. I have tried all conservative treatments available and am at the point I cannot even clean my house without severe pain to follow. I would like to be fair - Dr. Norton has great bedside manner, he is polite and takes his time to explain the conditions with you. However, all he did was acknowledge my diagnoses and tell me to speak to pain management "because there is nothing he can do for me". His ass... read more
Needed back stabilization and fusion. Did a lot of research on doctors and found Dr. Norton. Was very glad I did. He is one of the best! Dr. Norton is the only dr. I have ever been to that still comes out into the lobby and calls your name.....he doesn't have to do this! Quiet, knowledgeable, caring and thorough. His steady hand fixed my problems. Thank you.,
MY EXPERIENCE WITH DR. NORTON WAS THAT HE IS HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL, RESPECTFUL, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE WITH REGARD TO MY MEDICAL FINDINGS. I HAVE THE HIGHEST RESPECT FOR THIS FINE NEUROSURGEON.
Dr Norton is very skilled and very knowledgeable. He is also very compassionate and patient. I wish he could be my Primary Care Physician.
Dr. Norton is awesome!!! I had a ruptured disc in L-4, L-5. He got me into surgery within days of my initial visit. The followup was tremendous. When I was having some issues with radiating pain in my leg following surgery, he took the time to do follow up tests to make sure the nerve damage wasn't permanent. In addition he's just a nice guy.
I have been seeing Dr Norton for a problem in my spine and I love that he comes out to get me himself in the waiting room. He explains what the MRI is showing very well and is very calm and knowledgeable. His assistant Vanessa is awesome as well and has helped me with other issues in the department. I would recommend dr norton to anyone. I have a surgery coming up and I trust him completely.
Dr. Norton was so skilled in fixing my disc problem. I have had wonderful recovery. He always sees me ON TIME and comes to get me himself when I am in the waiting room. No reservations in recommending this fine physician. He ROCKS!
