I've been seeing Dr Service for several years now and her quality of care has really tanked. She's not very communicative, always late to appointments, offers zero care suggestions. She's definitely checked out. Don't bother seeing her unless you already know exactly what you need and just need someone to sign the prescription, even then...
This is the second time seeing him, and in both cases, he was just a really attentive and warm individual. His questions about symptoms and discussion about the treatment were at the right level, and just easy conversation. I felt comfortable asking questions (even dumb ones), and he answered them all while making me feel they were good questions. Over all just seems like a really good dude. (Good enough that I decided to take the time to fill out a review, which I’ve never bothered to do before).
He did not listen well. I had gained a lot of weight and was not sleeping well. I was concerned that I was kicking all night. He said I did not have restless leg syndrome. He said eat less, exercise more. I was already doing that, consuming 1200 or less a day. found a new Dr. and was sent to a sleep study and taken off levo. I was diagnosed with severe obstructed sleep apnea and they were surprised I hadn't had a stroke or heart attack. My legs were restless because of quitting breathing. I've been treated by Dr. Christenson for 12 years, including a couple of surgeries. Thanks to him expressing urgency regarding my condition, I am healthy and check in with him every couple of years. Dr. Christenson is very pleasant and a great listener, giving as much time as necessary.
Dr. Christenson is an exceptional MD.He listens intently to my concerns and offers good advice. The appt was not rushed
I've only seen her twice in person, maybe 2 times video call. I thought she was ok until i had a test run and she didn't even go over the results with me. Just prescribed medication without talking to me about the possible side effects. I have since found out on my own, the side effects of the medication are very extreme.
I saw Dr Dexter a couple of times for health wellness checks and some health concerns. She was dismissive, didn’t care to follow up and was unpleasant at times. I stopped getting regular checkups because of that. I’ve recently met with a PA in my new town and am now realizing that there's are more caring and healthcare providers out there.
Dr. Christenson was very helpful in getting to the bottom of my swallowing issues. He seems genuinely concerned about his patients and spends time explaining and also listening to concerns.
