I had the best experience with this office. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Hoag was very pleasant and very professional. My first visit there today made me want to recommend my family and friends to his practice. Thanks so much for taking great care of me today.
Dr. Hoag lacks tack, common sense when discussing an issue with patient and caregiver. He didn't listen to the whole situation and suggested a plan of care that was not in the best interest of the patient. Cut caregiver off when trying to explain.... He had not seen patient for a year and did not know all the facts. Now the patient will not listen to caregiver.
I had the opposite experience from these reviews. I was seen for a serious problem as new patient yet the doctor did not examine me did not ask questions of me did not have test results from emergency to review etc... his staff did not ask questions either nor did I receive paperwork questions to answer regarding history. Very very poor care in my case. A 1 is too high
He's awesome. Love his nurse and all of the office staff is friendly and helpful. Took my concerns of some negative side effects to some medication very seriously and appropriately. I'd tell anyone who wanted a family doctor to definitely go with Dr. Hoag.
I have been seeing Dr. Hoag since 2006 and he is outstanding. He takes the time to listen to his patients, it's not just get in and get out - next patient. He diagnosed my throat cancer in 2009 and took the immediate steps necessary to get me to an ENT and have the treatments started immediately. He is a friendly and caring professional who you can trust with any issue you might have. I would never go anywhere else.
Dr.Hoag has a level of trust when it come to Patients, listens well with all your question, give's the best advance if you need to see another Doctor, spends appropriate time with each Patient, well tell you what may not want to hear when it comes to your Health and give good advice, the ease of Scheduling urgent appointments, Office environment is cleanliness comfortable and Friendly, Dr.Hoag will be my Doctor for years to come!
