Dr. Lara has been my doctor since I was 13 years old. When you're that young, being diagnosed with depression can be terrifying. She made the entire process so much easier, and it was obvious she cared from the beginning. Now 6 and a half years later, she is still the doctor I trust for my psychiatric care. She is patient, compassionate, and doesn't try to push medicine on you. I am finally turning a corner, and I couldn't have done it without Dr. Lara. To Dr. Lara: THANK YOU. You rock.
Very good bedside manner. Listens well, sympathetic, consoling, clear communication. Very kind and intelligent doctor. If something doesn't work, she is proactive to keep trying to find a solution.
