Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital misdiagnosed my mother's glioblastoma and sent her home stating her MRI had improved. This particular doctor looked me and her in the eyes, sharing that he was 99% sure it wasn't cancer. By the time she had worsening symptoms, she was taken back to the ER, where the tumor had grown rapidly. She died 23 days later. On 5/10/23 Dr Kaczmar operated on my C3 and C4 vertebrae and made the incision under my left jaw. When I asked about possible complications he said I “might have temporary swallowing or speech issues, due to temporary swelling”, but he warned me if I didn’t have the surgery, I would “lose the use of my arms”. Immediately upon waking from surgery I couldn’t swallow anything, even saliva, could not move my tongue, and could only make unrecognizable sounds. This doctor is a joke and couldn't even tell me why i have back pain, i was told by Four other surgeons i needed surgery only to get to this guy who doesn't even look at your mri , then blows me off by putting down the many reports i have and tells me they just want my money which in fact they were reports read by surgeons with no financial incentives, if this guy cant tell me why i have pain he shouldnt be a doctor, he is a complete JOKE I wouldnt reccommend anyone go see this man, he also didnt seem to wanna take anytime e... read more
