Dr. Gertel is a knowledgeable and caring individual who took time to be clear about what was happening during all stages of my recovery from a severely broken shoulder. With the aid of his excellent care, I avoided what everyone else predicted: shoulder replacement surgery. Dr. Gertel was always honest, frank, and transparent in his communication which I highly value.
