She may be the neurologist you need. I found her dismissive, and terse; lacks empathic communication skills.
Dr. Casanova is a wonderful physician. She gives you as much as needed time with not rushing the visit. She is very personable. She always smiles during your visit with her and while checking you. My husband has been going to her for over 6 years, after he had a stroke. We highly recommend her if you need a neurologist.

I was given an EEG at JFK hospital that was applied wrong. The wires were crossed and they told me I had an epileptic seizure and gave me strong medication...Thankfully I went to NYC and got another opinion...They saw that this was all wrong....It's almost a year now and I went thru time and money and I am perfectly fine.....this practice did not care. i need to see dr. casanova sooner then the scheduled apointment for the test to see if myasthenis is the culprit causing my speed imperfection. my mouth is constantly full of slurred speech, also saliva. my primary ordered a rx called oxybutin. nothing has helped. please, i need an appoitment now.
her chairside manner is not very profession..........she tends to be very frustating, in my case i dont sell drugs nor did i like being asked about one of my rx'S. THE STAFF IS PLEASANT....................................
Terrible customer service. We called to get a new patient appointment end of October, received an appointment for 2 weeks later. Day before the appointment got a text and automated call that the appointment was canceled due to weather. Finally 3 days later they called to reschedule the appointment and an appointment was scheduled for another 2 weeks away.
