I went to 3 appts at Hoffmann and associates- all terrible experiences (with 3 different people). I ended up being induced at mercy and had the unfortunate experience with dealing with Teresa Hoffman, herself. She came in the room (I was alone with her) and did a cervical exam without lubrication and I had a physical reaction to it as it was painful. Teresa Hoffam is a unreasonable, unempathic sorry excuse for an obstetrician. She basically disregarded the fact that I was over 40 in a high risk pregnancy and was upset because my primary doctor wanted to take me out of work. Ms. High Almighty took it as an insult when my primary doctor simply put the well being of his patient first. She even went against the other obstetrician in her practice that recommended I be out of work until I saw I specialist for my condition. To sum it up the thought of her disgust me. Dr Hoffman needs to work on her bedside manner. Awful first appointment for my first pregnancy. Instead of reassuring me she just made me feel worse. I have no signs of a miscarriage and she brought up the words first. Then said “ happy you’re not having symptoms but most people don’t have symptoms this early”. I called multiple other offices and they all confirmed an ultrasound shouldn’t be done that early. Also other offices were shocked she even used the term miscarriage.
