I have seen Dr.Mullick a few times.Very thorough and communicates clearly.
Kind hearted. Great bedside manner. He is through and through the most caring doctor. He diagnosed gastritis. He trea5ed me with nexium and with a novel ph test arranged my medications in a better manner than others. He talked with me and saved me money by doing this procedure for about a third the cost or less than the hospital. He spent time with me at the follow up whereas another doctor had not prior. He is a kind and knowledgeable doctor. He truly cares. His training and extra skills and advanced training have made him technically excellent but his caring heart and nice smile help him be a good doctor. He treated my heartburn well. He saved me money by doing the tests in his office based center. Thank you. He spent good timewith me in the follow up appointment. I will do my colonoscopy there too. I sent over two of my friends who were seen for bleeding and gallstones. They had great eperexperiences
Had a procedure scheduled, waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes before he finally got to me. In the meantime I was getting a headache from not eating, because I was not supposed to before this procedure. His medical staff is outsourced (which I found out when I received my large bill from them) and his staff at the front desk are very strange. Waiting rooms are all nicked up on walls and basic medical setting is not normal. After my procedure he spent 2 minutes with me and no more. Wish I would have read the reviews...NEVER would have seen him! Always late, always wants you to come in for an appt. (most were not needed). I would wait 45 minutes to see him for a 5 min. useless appt. The final straw was I showed up for a procedure and the staff told me he was not in and that they tried to call me to cancel....I HAD NO PHONE CALLS from them on my home or cell! I requested a follow up call after lab work was done, but never received a call back after 4 attempts in the office within 4 weeks. The results were crucial!!!! He likes to do procedures, which are costly, but no follow up unless you make an appoinment.
I believe he is very thorough with his procedure and exam. He takes his time to talk to you if you have questions. The 3 times I have met him, he is at least 30-60 minutes late. So if you are under no time pressure, I would recommend him.
2 years ago,went to a top univ.hospital in Chicago on Saturday as my vommitting for a week was getting worse.ER doctor said you have an obstruction--see an ERCP specialist on Monday. I called Dr.Mullick who agreed to do ERCP on Saturday in Delnor Hospital.
