Dr. Khan was very impolite on my first and only visit with her. It was my first encounter with a neurologist at Cleveland Clinic. I reviewed the available doctors beforehand, and she seemed very personable and professional in her video. Well, it was the total opposite in person. We were International patients that made an appointment with Cleveland Clinic in Weston to see Dr Khan on the 8th Nov. 21. All relevant documents were put on the portal two months before the appointment date. When we arrived Dr Khan greeted us by saying “How can I help you today “. At that moment we knew that she did not even read our son’s file. This was very disappointing with no regard for someone who travelled from far at an expense trying to find help for our son. Brilliant but doesn’t seem to care. Attitude re: Parkinson’s is that there’s really no hope and start medication immediately. Doesn’t proactively share side effects. We always have to ask and she seems annoyed that it matters to us. Frustrating - wish she could hide the fact that she perceives is as a nameless, faceless, afflicted couple with no cure.
Outstanding Specialist! Best there is in Movement Disorder field.
