My daughter has been seen by Dr. Hussain for ten years. He has provided reliable, safe advice for treatment of her severe anxiety. He is a psychiatrist, not a therapist. He is there to prescribe meds, and it may take patience to find one that works. Don't expect him to provide counseling; that's not what he does.
I have been with Dr. Hussain for nearly 12 years. He was the only doctor that pushed thru and helped me with my son who has some behavioral issues. Through his extensive treatment plan and detailed monitoring, my son is now very successful in school. I would be lost without Dr. H. So would my son. We both are very grateful for him and his staff. We both highly recommended Dr. H. If I have a concern about medications, he’s right on it.
Dr Hussain is professional and thorough in his assessment. Cares deeply about his patients.
Dr Hussain, is probably in my history of psychiatrist the worst doctor I've ever come across. I'm sorry, it hurts to say this, but this man literally almost sabatoged my treatment because of his utter negligence to hear his patient. I have to forgive him, but I will never forget my horrible experience with this man. I have no words...
Went in for an assessment that lasted about an hour and expected Dr. Hussain to understand where I was coming from upon initially meeting him. After the first assessment I waited over a month to see him. I met him briefly for nearly 20 minutes, in which he asked me "why are you crying?" as I was there for that reason exactly, not understanding why I'm sick. Very unprofessional and cannot meet adults, no idea how he handles adolescents and children. He then prescribed a drug that spiraled me.
