I have a heart condition and severe morning sickness, which makes me a high-risk pregnancy. She prescribed meds not covered by my insurance and never sent a new prescription. I saw her every two weeks and told her the sickness makes me unable to eat and drink and my heart condition is worsening, the dizziness and chest pains becoming more and more frequent. She repeatedly talked over me, argued with me, and basically did not treat me AT ALL

I just delivered Jan. 2019. this was my 3rd pregnancy but 1st with this o.b. She is absolutely wonderful my only complaint is that my family is complete and we won't be having more children so I will not be able to see her. She really listens and advocates for what her patients want. By far the best OB I have ever been to.

My husband and I have had quite a few Ob doctors as we've have experienced multiple miscarriages. Doctor Akram by far has been the only doctor that has actually reviewed our history and helped us with options to conceive. I have had two babies safely delivered through her expertise. She has been gracious and spends time with us as if we were her only patients. She was calm and directive with me during delivery. I had the best experience with her during my pregnancy and delivery.

I've had many doctors over the course of my life and I've never met one as rude as Dr. Akram. I went to her because she had decent reviews. Maybe it's because I'm not pregnant and went for other stuff, but I've never felt so belittled in my life. Her office gave me the wrong information when scheduling my appointment and so I was confused and when trying to get an explanation, she got mad. For someone whose job is to deliver babies, I wish she treated people with more respect.

Super nice doctor but I would not recommend. You get only a few minutes of her time as she is always over booked. No time for questions or concerns (most pregnant women have them). The staff is nice but highly disorganized. Doctor does not read your chart before seeing you, staff assumes doctor has told you things when in fact you are in the dark. No one really knows how much you owe at any given time. Very unprofessional.

I just delivered my baby before 2 days ,, and want to get pregnant again just to enjoy pregnancy again with dr .Akram,, she is one of the best of the best

She is amazing and super professional Doctor!!! She helped me out with my first pregnancy and delivery! She always listened to my wishes and concerns! I would highly recommend her to everyone!!! If you want a good specialist and nice Doctor, choose Dr. Tahira Akram!!! She is my favorite!!!!! Love her!!!

I saw the doctor all throughout my pregnancy and she was so kind and patient with me. She always took the time to answer my questions and recommend nutrition tips during my pregnancy. She was most empathetic during the birth. She arrived minutes prior to delivering the baby and she prepared the area by applying a numbing agent in case I were to tear (which I did). I wish I still lived in California so I could continue going to her office. Thank you Doctor.

She is amazing! I was very nervous being an older first time pregnant mommy 2 be and Dr Akram was always so warm and never made me feel rushed. I was a very high risk pregnancy and she continually reassured me and explained everything in detail. She seriously felt like a family me,eber. She even gave me her cell phone number to call her direct day or night. She is the BEST!
