Syyeda was very friendly listened to everything that I had going on and helped me when I was at my lowest point of my life I definitely am seeing her again.
Extremely disappointed that she felt the need to direct my other heath care Drs in their care of my other health concerns which were not mental health related. Did not believe past diagnoses which resulted in bad reactions to new meds., and replacement meds were ordered to take immediately (was called into pharmacy while I was still having reactions to first!) which I feel should have waited a few days. Belittled me for trusting my former doctors. Made me feel worse than when I started.
I recently brought my daughter to her for help. We won't be returning due to poor bedside manner and passing judgement. The appointment went so poorly that it has sent back my daughter's progress in her meantal health care.
Dr. Syed is an adequate psychiatrist, meaning that she's better than seeing no one at all. However, if you're extremelyrics depressed, I highly recommend that you find someone else. She lacks empathy, bedside manner, and told me to my face that her medication couldn't have been causing a side effect that I reported. What else could it have been? I'm not on anything else. Her personality makes the evaluations and check ups very uncomfortable. I often get the sense that she just doesn't care.
She listened to me and re-evaluated all the meds I am taking and changed couple on my list. I was very satisfied with her services and I will continue to see her. Thank you.
