Update: highly unethical and filing a medical ethics complaint. Doctors shouldn’t be petty but he is. Asked for an 30 day gap refill to get us by til we can get in with another endocrinologist and fired them. They said he would send it, he sent 20 days and a letter “firing us”. Unethical. We missed a couple of appointments due to some major life issues. Didn’t cancel, rescheduled. There have been a couple times previously we rescheduled but my husband is a transplant patient and had some conflicting appointments and his transplant appointments will always be more important. We tried to refill his omnipod script and the doctor refused. We were shocked. They said he constantly cancels and they’ve spoken to him and told him this would happen. It’s not true. I love this office, from the staff in front office that always greets me with a smile and handles all my issues and concerns with the upmost respect, patience and professionalism. I like this office staff and Dr so much I drive 6 hours for my 3 month appointments. I highly recommend!!
My rheumatologist sent me to him only because the original place I was to go was backed up for six months or more. My first visit with him, he said I can tell by looking at you that you have Cushing disease, and he was very adamant about it. Quite rude about it. He also said that if I continued worrying about my thyroid, I was not gonna get anywhere that my thyroid levels are normal (I had my thyroid removed more than 20 years ago).
