No stars if it was allowed. This doctor was very condescending and antagonistic. I went to him to feel better and he made my anxiety and depression worse. I dreaded getting on the virtual calls. He gaslit me regarding my insomnia and depression commenting that I should just be able to get out of the bed because I'm a "smart woman and could figure it out". I have been seen by mental health professionals for nearly 30 years. I have been with Dr. Ahmed for the last 15 years. By far, he is the best...obviously, why I stick with him. He listens when you speak and always recalls the particulars of your situation...which many mental health professionals do not. As a law enforcement professional for more than 20 years I am very familiar with the difficulties in dealing with people in crisis. Recently, I had members of my own family in crisis and I needed help. Dr. Ahmed and his entire staff were extremely helpful with same day care. Through strong listening skills and attention to detail Dr. Ahmed got my family back on the right path and I am very grateful.
Been with Dr. Ahmed right when the pandemic started. He is very understanding and patient. If there's a misunderstanding he is willing to listen and work it out with you. Between his therapist and his front staff everybody at his office are awesome to work with.
Dr. Ahmed is genuinely the most caring, calm, intelligent psychiatrist.
