Dr.Slonim is really an angel in disguise helping a huge group of women with fibroids! I'm so glad that I went in the right direction with her. UFE is one of the best decisions I've made health wise. The procedure was done in July 2021 and within 5 months there was a 40% decrease in size. Most of my symptoms started to disappear within 2 weeks. I am absolutely overjoyed by the decision made in Aug 2021 to contact the Fibroid Institute. I was diagnosed with uterine fibroids by my OBGYN approximately 2-3 years prior and was told 2 options: a myoectomy or hysterectomy. Right from the receptionist to the doctor, the whole team, I find your service exceptional right from day one. I had a procedure scheduled and through the steps I had unequalled assistance all the way. On the day of my procedure, the doctors introduced themselves to me individually, the caring staff were professional and courteous.
