Great Doctor now more options available since she is at UT Southwestern. They need to update this resource.
I have been going to Dr. Overstreet since she joined this practice (many years) and have always found her to be very open to discuss whatever are my concerns. Her staff, especially her nurse, are also terrific.
Dr. Overstreet is terrific. Good and thorough. Dealing with USMD in scheduling appointments, asking questions, getting the Dr's office to follow through is absolutely terrible. I would not recommend this facility at all.
I have been going to Dr. Overstreet for many years and I love her -- very professional, very knowledgeable, and also very caring. She has always taken time to answer my questions, discuss my concerns, etc. She kindly and gently pushes me to have the preventative tests that I tend to ignore and I have found her to be open to discussing alternative medicines and procedures. My mother also went to Dr. Overstreet for many years and, when she was dying of heart failure, Dr. Overstreet gave us a special "non-office" number to call... read more
Went to make an appointment because I called to make sure my insurance BCBS HMO Obama Care said she was accepting new patients. The girl at the desk said she was not.
My experience with Dr. Overstreet has alway been great. What I have a problem with is her staff. Scripts not being refilled on time (numerous occasions), my childrens shot records not getting updated (this has happened twice), not getting calls returned. And one time when we came in and saw a different doctor, their MA didn't test my son for the flu and he ended up having it. I love Dr. Overstreet but we will be looking for a new family doctor.
Dr. Overstreet is a caring doctor that listens to the patient and follows through with accurate diagnoses and treatments. I have Lynch Syndrome which is somewhat rare and makes me at risk to all kinds of cancers. Upon learning of my situation she updated her knowledge of this syndrome and has made sure to guide me to appropriate specialists as needed. She is genuinely concerned for my health.
I went to Dr. Overstreet because she accepts my insurance. I had a shoulder issue that I went in for and she took the time to research the issue, find a specialist for me, and learn about what was going on. I always feel like she hears me when I go in. She is very friendly and her staff has always been nice. I am not very needy when it comes to doctors so she goes above my expectations.
Called to schedule an appointment because they were recommended by my insurance. The man on the phone was unaccomodating as soon as he found out that I was a new patient. He was not able to get me in for several weeks for an injured shoulder because "the doctor has a 1 new patient a day" policy. I have never felt so demeaned by a receptionist that I was perfectly courteous to. I ended up finding a doctor at a different office to see.
