Extremely disappointed with her. Got referred to her by another specialist. She was 50 minutes late at a 930 AM appointment. I came from Florida for this and was on time somehow. She was also absolutely not dressed for work. Short skirt, high leather boots.. She looked like she had gone on a date or something. I had a pouchoscpy performed by her and she answered all questions with expertise. Very kind. She successfully dilated me in a safe way so that’s great because I had a history of strictures. Also, she explained all my imaging afterwards/her takeaways. I’ve seen some pretty negative reviews her about more invasive procedures, but if anyone is going for a scope that has a j pouch or ostomy she is still good. Back in 2022, I went in to have surgery by Dr. Gearhart, and that was the worst mistake I ever made in my life. I'm just going to end on this she was suppose to do something small but she left me on my back area with a big hole from a fistula I have to pack it everyday for the rest of my life. I had surgery a year ago by Dr. Gearhart. I was in surgery for a rectal prolapse for 5 hours and done robotically by Dr. Gearhart. She was very nice before my surgery but as soon as the surgery was done she changed. I was home about 3 days when I didn't feel right so I sent her a message that I thought the prolapse wasn't fixed. She called me and was very defensive and said it had not failed and only after 3 years or so might return. When I went back for my follow-up she in fact saw that the surgery had failed.
