Dr. Venna is an excellent doctor by all measures - very knowledgeable and able to explain the process/big picture in a way patients can understand - and an amazing bedside manner. Very fortunate to have him.
My dermatologist identified an aggressive melanoma on my scalp and referred me to the Fairfax Inova Schar Cancer Institute. My case is managed by Dr Suraj Venna, Dermatologist, and his team of Dr Sekwon Jang Oncologist, and Dr Heath Dreyfuss Surgical Oncologist. Dr. Venna has been my dermatologist for nearly a decade and he is magnificent. He has a gentle and respectful bedside manner, always remembers to ask about family, and kindly answers the million questions I always have in a patient and transparent manner. I feel bad for those who have to find another dermatologist, but am extremely thankful to have him in my life (that I still have because of him).
