Dr. Patel is the best surgeon in the Valley. He is so caring and explains everything. I have lung issues and found out I needed open heart surgery. He is skilled in both problems and understood how to perform successful heart surgery with my lung problem. Banner Thunderbird hospital was awesome. His nurse Practioner Terry is with you Monday-Friday at the hospital overseeing your care. She is outstanding also.
Dr Patel is the most thorough and trustworthy doctor that I have ever known. Whenever I mention his name others rave about him and agree with me that he is the best! He performed a Triple Bypass on me 3 weeks ago and I have now no issues or pain. He thoroughly explained the procedure and followed up explaining how things went. He takes the time with you and both he and his staff have been wonderful, friendly and helpful in my recovery!! I recommend him to anyone needing cardiac surgery!!
I was referred to Dr Patel by my heart Dr for a TAVR procedure to replace my stenotic aortic valve. Dr Patel was extremely prompt and extremely thorough. He took the time to explain the process, procedure and to listen to to my questions while courteously taking the time to answer each one. Feel totally at ease.
Dr Patel is one of the best Physicians I have ever met. He is very honest and does not sugar coat anything. However he is most definitely very proficient in his field. He is Personable and listens to questions. Thank you Dr Patel for extending my life!! His office staff is very friendly and compassionate as well.

Dr. Patel and his team performed a double valve replacement for my wife. Their performance was beyond excellent. We were impressed by his approach and the results. Dr. Patel was genuinely concerned.
