Only doctor I've met who flaunts publications yet sucks with his procedures. I got no relief and to be honest feel worse now. Told me if I wasn't comfortable with him I shouldn't of done the procedure!
The doctor recommended i do an injection. I agreed . When I started to question him about it he got very defensive .On the day of procedure he was totally inconsiderate and told me if i don't trust him not to do it. I was all ready and in a lot of pain so i let him do it. That was a mistake i should have left. No consideration for my pain and my fear by him or the anesthsiologist. on follow up he was nasty and told me no guarantees . He did his best and i don't need to return.
I couldn't find a Pain Management Specialist that dealt with the whole body not just the spine…until I was referred to Dr. Diwan. He is excellent and very accommodating. After two knee replacements I was still in a lot of pain. No matter what my knee surgeon did it didn't help my pain but he was pleased with my range of motion. Dr. Diwan listened to me a d created a plan of action. I feel so much better now I may not have the knee revision surgery I thought was inevitable. He is kind & reassuri
He is curt, direct, nice helped me and my pain. I would like more explanation and understanding, but these days people spend the least possible amount of time because of insurance and the small amount doctors get paid for their services, knowledge and experience.
Under his care for spinal stenosis, etc. for many years and satisfied until he disappeared from the site on Staten Island without notifying patients.
