I find that Dr Grogg it the best Doctor I have found - ever. He listens to all my issues and finds answers. If one solution does not work he he tries something else. I am so please with his willingness to listen to me and treat me as a person. I have found that his staff is also very helpful. Yes they are very busy but I use the system, leave a message with the correct person and explain what I need -- I always get a response. I have to say the the email system is also good. I am definitely.
Dr. Grogg was good in early 2000’s. Now cares more about his huge house & traveling than his patients. He’ll make you think he cares, he doesn’t. I heard him many times talking about people he had just seen, & people waiting to be seen. I went to him w/ something terrible that happened to me he just shrugged it off. I found a new dr who listened & as soon as Steven found out I got discharged from “his care.” How can I get discharged when I fired him? He has a habit of abandoning patients too.
Dr. Grogg has been consistently on the mark in diagnosing, treating, prescribing medication, and referring when necessary. He is well read and is aware of advances in medical research and of new medical advisories. Plus it's important to note that his demeanor is open to my sometimes naive questions. He listens. I'm 77. He's the best primary care physician I've had the good fortune of having. Obviously I highly recommend him.
My problem with Dr.Grogg is,he ordered tests and he never called me with the results.I left messages on the urgent care line for the results and waited 3 days for his assistant to call me telling me that they found a mass on my kidneys (it could be nothing) and sending me for further testing. On pins and needles for 3 days, again no phone call.I never spoke to Dr.Grogg and got my results from the lab.Did I mention that I am a cancer survivor.I was told to use the portal & I was not registered.??
Dr. Grogg is an amazing doctor with a wonderful bedside manner. However, his office staff leaves a lot to be desired. They don't EVER return phone calls so don't bother leaving a message. There are some that act like you're bothering them and are blatantly rude. My family has been going to this practice for 16+ years and have watched it fall apart. Their staff seems incapable of doing their jobs. If it wasn't for the Drs and NPs in this office, I would have transferred long ago.
