The time he spent with me
It a horrible doctor he told me that i had prostatitis for 3 years and he kept tell me it was cronic but in reality it was prostate cancer,and he said i am very sorry i could of sworn it was prostatitiscause your psa levels were low and your and your prostate was not inlarged wit that said after 3 years he did take tissues samples of my prostate and it was cancer at gleason 8 which is very high i ask my surgon what would you do he said after a month if not better then he wouold of took a biopsy he waited 3 years to do it tru... read more
Poor diagnosis, poor bedside manner, poor experience. I had to go to another doctor for proper car.
Treated with sarcasm and contempt by clinical staff when their assistance was requested with obtaining lost paperwork for a critical lab urinalysis ordered by Dr. Hirschberg following recent kidney surgery. Have had a 20 year relationship with this exceptional physician. It is really unfortunate that his practice is being sabotaged by uncaring staff who continue to treat his patients disrespectfully and without regard to professional courtesy, respect or dignity.
Blindsided by a diagnosis of advanced prostate cancer, at first I thought Dr. H was a know-it-all and pretty cold. But the more he came around to see me in the hospital, I began to realize that he was very competent and a good guy. These docs are busy and don't have time for small talk. He and Dr. Schacter were very straight with me. They have taken care of a lot of little details and laid out a plan of treatment that makes sense. I am a medical journalist (ophthalmology) so I do my own research
