I had a consultation with Dr.Copit after meeting with my breast surgeon and oncologist. At the time I was considering having a double mastectomy. It was one of the toughest choices I had to face to to date. Dr Copit was extremely personable, sensitive and kind. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a compassionate and gifted plastic surgeon. My next consult will be for a mommy make over !
I learned to do extensive research on plastic surgeons after enduring a collapsed rhinoplasty in 1999 when I was only 19 and picked a plastic surgeon out of a phone book. At 28 I went for a revision and again I went with the first surgeon I found based on his flashy Manhattan office. Dr. Copit did not listen when I told him my drain wasn't draining properly. "I'm the plastic surgeon" he boasted. I had serious consequences from his arrogance. I have been impaired in my functioning from the scar tissue that grew into my muscle because he didn't care or take the time to evaluate the situation properly. Dr. Copit is so arrogant, he is dangerous.
Gee, you got to stay overnight for a facelift and I was shoved out the door for 2 drive-thru recontructions after mastectomy!!

Dr. Copit is a compassionate surgeon with an artist's hands. He is generous with his time, patient with explanations, and comprehensive with his answers. He is a beacon of hope in the darkest night. His reconstructive work is masterful. He and his staff are available and attentive. I am enormously grateful to all of them for taking such good care of me and making me beautiful again after a bi-lateral mastectomy at age 44.
