I came to Dr. Harter’s office because of his strong reputation as a VBAC-supportive OB in Las Vegas. I had a low transverse C-section in October 2023 and am currently due in July 2025 — making it a 21-month gap between deliveries. According to ACOG and other widely accepted medical guidelines, that’s within the recommended 18–24 month window for a safe VBAC.Unfortunately, I was told I’m not a good candidate because I didn’t wait 18–24 months before getting pregnant, even though the guidelines refer to the time between births... read more

Dr. Harter is without a doubt one of the best OB/GYN is Las Vegas! I am currently on my second pregnancy with Dr. Harter and he is just as wonderful as the first time, 5 years ago. When he delivered my daughter, he was very supportive of my personal medical decisions and delivery preferences. Is Dr. Harter a long wait for prenatal visits because he's busy? YES! Are there times when you may have to wait longer or see his PA (who is wonderful herself!) instead because he is out delivering a baby? YES! But this is why he is so ... read more

Waited 1 month. Got result wanted to do a more extensive surgical procedure was told the doctor would NOT speak by phone. Waited another month for 2nd appt. Paid another $103 copy. Agreed to surgery. 2 weeks and I've been calling and NO ONE will acknowledge me. Said doctor wrote I don't want any procdue. This is horrible service and no way to treat patients. Especially those with issues. I'm shocked. 3 months of my life waiting.

Dr Harder saved my daughter’s life. She had been to a walk- in ER and was pregnant. He diagnosed her ectopic pregnancy and she was operated on by him within a day. The nurses love him too.

I was moving to Las Vegas from another state in the middle of my pregnancy and chose Dr Harter because I read online that he was supportive of natural childbirth and had low c-section rates. I am so glad I chose him, he does truly love what he does and it shows. I was able to have a pain-medication free vaginal birth, he was supportive of mobile fetal monitoring so I was able to walk around the room during labor and drink fluids, and when things got emergent (my daughter's heart rate was dropping) right at the end as I was p... read more

He is a very busy man for sure! I am fine with that though. My husband and I really loved and appreciated how he took the time to get to know us and make personal notes on our file our first visit meeting him. He really does care about his patients. Sure he has assistants to help with regular appointments and such, but my checkups are always thorough and the staff is respectful and very nice! I look forward to having a Dr. I feel safe and comfortable with deliver my daughter.

I was told I was having a miscarriage then 4 days later an eptopic pregnancy. I was sent for a bunch of urgent tests and ultra sounds and multiple other urgent appointments and was told I would hear back before the end of the day... that was over 30 hours ago. No answer no response. Am I going to lose my Fallopian tube or my baby?! Hello!!!!!!!!! Not to mention the staff there are a bunch of jerks who make you feel bad for asking questions.

I went to Dr Harter because I wanted to have a natural birth after 2 C-sections and he said he would let me try. I did great and got to 7 cm but then my baby's heartbeat dropped and I was raced into the OR. I am so thankful that my baby is alive and beautiful. The doctor continues to remind me of that but he ignores what he put my body through. I had massive bruising across my entire lower abdomen and it was hard. When I saw him he said I have diastasis recti over 5 cm, "normally I sew that up"

Dr. Harter is the only OBGYN I would see to deliver my babies! He is absolutely fantastic. It's refreshing to have a doctor genuinely care about his patients. (He has even called on a weekend to deliver lab results, always goes above and beyond!) My labor and delivery experience with him exceeding my expectations. Can't praise him enough.
