I have had multiple implants and several oral/maxillofacial surgeons -- Dr. Shepherd is the very best! His bedside manner is pleasant, he remembers every patient and their stories, his staff is warm and welcoming, and best of all, he works miracles! I love him!
Dr. Shepherd is really good at what he does, probably the best periodontist in OC. He does however have the personality of drywall and is extremely "all-business" all the time. He doesn't really smile at all or joke around but you will after he fixes your teeth.
I was referred to Stephen for Perio Surgery. When I read about openning up gums and the pain etc etc - I was terrified - Truth be told - You could not pay me to go to another Periodontist. He is amazing - no pain EVER - If I moved to another state - I would Fly here if I needed that type of work again - easier than having your teeth cleaned :)
I like Dr. Shepherd. His chair side manner is very low key. He does the best for this patients. His front office is always willing to help in any way when rescheduling appointments and his hygienists are the best around. I love my implants.
