Dr. Stephen Aoki is one of the best orthopedic doctors in SLC. He is excellent as a person, cares for the patient, and is excellent in expertise. I had to have a third menisectomy in my knee and he took over the assignment, and after seven years I am doing fairly well, hardly any pain, and walk steadily. Also, his working team is exceptional. Thank you Dr. Aoki, keep up the good work!

Dr. Aoki is a great doctor, with a friendly and personable demeanor. He's probably the best doctor I've ever had. His diagnoses have always been spot-on and his concern for my comfort and quality of life are top priorities. He has repaired both of my hips (badly torn hip flexors) and continues to help with my other on-going conditions. I had hip arthroscopy’s and labral tear repairs in both hips (about a year a part) due to hip dysplasia and FAI. This was 5 years ago. I’ve been able to continue bartending and I even hiked the Inca trail!
14 years of debilitating pain. I was an athlete when I went in for what I thought was a simple hip impingement surgery in 2011. I was told recovery would be 3-4 months. I struggled to transition from crutches to walking and ended up in a wheelchair.
