I had hip arthroscopy’s and labral tear repairs in both hips (about a year a part) due to hip dysplasia and FAI. This was 5 years ago. I’ve been able to continue bartending and I even hiked the Inca trail!
14 years of debilitating pain. I was an athlete when I went in for what I thought was a simple hip impingement surgery in 2011. I was told recovery would be 3-4 months. I struggled to transition from crutches to walking and ended up in a wheelchair.
