Dr.Greenhouse is great. I have PCOS, saw two other doctors and had two miscarriages prior. He suggested i started with IUI. After 3 tries, i am now PG. Thank you, Dr.Greenhouse.
DR Greenhouse is very knowledgeable and very helpfull when i went shady grove to try ivf while i am having fibroids Dr.Greenhouse advised me to remove them before any procedure after i did a surgery i end up getting pregnent naturally with out any medical help i had seen 3 DR prior to him all sayed to do iui or ivf they didn't mention about fibroid to be removed
Dr. Greenhouse is great. I got pregnant after 3 IUIs. Definitely owe it to Shady Grove.
My husband and I recently had a consultation at the fair oaks facility. We felt after meeting as if nothing new was learned from our own research. IVF was recommended but we knew alreday that was the best alternative for us. costs of options were not discussed rather a brochure was given to us to read. why this brochure was not mailed with the other information so that we could analyze and form questions prior to our consultation? in inquiring of donor egg receipient information we were told to call the rockville center. the... read more
I completely disagree with the posters that say Shady Grove is a factory. My experience could not have been further from that. We were assigned a nurse who was the sweetest, most caring person and shared our sorrows as they happened and our joy when we found out we were expecting. Everyone in the office knew my name when I came in and felt like family. They were prompt with all call backs and truly cared about our success. We are now pregnant and owe that to Shady Grove!
This is one of the area "factory" practices. They are very large and lack individualized/personal attention. We were based out of the Fair Oaks office where the nurse assigned to us was extremely unhelpful. Very little time was spent reviewing procedure for IUI..so naturally we needed some questions answered/clarified. When we called the nurse to review our questions..we were treated poorly...my wife ended conversation in tears. As some have already said...you're just a number at Shady Grove. I brought my husband w/me for a follow-up consult, and Dr. Greenhouse was rude and disrespectful towards us. He even told my husband he didn't have his priorities in order. We both had to pick our jaws up off the floor when we left. Dr. Greenhouse also said that they're a business and they need to make a profit! Wow! Now we really know where they stand. We're switching doctor's after wasting 6mos of time and money w/Shady Grove.
Everytime I see Dr. Greenhouse, I feel like I am the only patient in the world. He takes time. I often bring in a list of questions and he answers them before I even get to them. He is always a professional and I feel like I received excellent care. I know shady grove has a "baby factory" reputation, but I have never felt that way. I had an unfortunate miscarriage and he was quick to test me for several things, that most doctors would wait to do after several. I can trust this man.
Dr. Greenhouse is a superb RE - extremely knowledgeable, the only RE I met (after interviewing top doctors at 4 other clinics) that had a good plan. Even though I was a poor responder, over 40 by the time we did IVF, just a not stellar reproductive history- he and his staff were dedicated and never gave up. We didn't have to try that long since we were successful thanks to him in a short time. Thank you!
