In 2019, my shoulder was injured while caring for my elderly mom. It got to the point that I couldn't raise my arm above my head and limited movement below my head. XR's showed no problems with the shoulder, but the pain was acute. The HSS doctor prescribed PT which made the condition worse. Had rotator surgery and was very impressed with efficiency and knowledge of Dr. Silver. Pain level, flexibility and overall wellness is impressive as compared to open shoulder Surgery I had 5 years Ago on my other shoulder. I recommend Dr. Silver And Active Orthopedics Highly. Arthroscopic surgery is definitely the way to go and Dr. Silver is the man.

Dr. Silver and his staff is absolutely the best ! I came in with a torn bicep in November of 2015. Dr. .Silver scheduled my operation within a week. I opted to have the surgery performed at the Hackensack, NJ location, which is an easy drive from NYC and has ample parking. Facility , service and staff were out of this world. I went to Dr. Silver seeking an alternative to knee replacement surgery. I was under the impression Dr.Silver performed stem cell therapy. Upon arrival, the process was explained to me. I would have my blood drawn, it would then be placed in a centrifuge. After a few minutes in the centrifuge, the blood had separated into two distinct parts. He performed surgery to repair partial tears in my shoulder and bicep. I am very pleased with the results. This is a great doctor. He really knows what he is doing and uses state of the art techniques that get great results.

Dr. Silver came highly recommended by a colleague who had knee surgery by him 2 years ago. I went to him for a second opinion. He took the time to explain the procedure and the recovery process as well as answer all of the questions I had and put my fears to rest. I had the surgery 10 days ago and it went really well. Recovery has been great - no pain and I am making great progress. Dr. Silver is professional, compassionate and a brilliant surgeon.

Dr.Stephen g. Silver performed surgery on my rotator cuff and saved my arm and shoulder. He did an excellent job and his staff and surgery associates were all wonderful. excellent surgeon.I would Highly recommend him to my family and friends!
