I am lucky to have found Dr. Duffy via the excellent reference to him from Dr Brian Cox of Premiere Plastic Surgery. I could not be happier with the results of my breast surgery. Symmetry is always a concern and Dr Duffy got it right. Dr Duffy was also aided by PA Carlitos Chen, a wonderful and engaged care giver. Great team.
After meeting with several plastic surgeons, I chose Dr. Duffy, and am glad I did. He and his staff took wonderful care of me. After years, I know love looking at my eyes in the mirror. I couldn't be happier
Missed the appt due to another medical appt that ran over. By, the time I got out Dr. Duffy’s office was closed. Called to a day later to reschedule, Staff said I needed to have given them 24 his hours noticed to cancel an appt Since I didn’t they told me to reschedule I’d have to pay $50.00 or reschedule for another appt.. This policy was informed at the time I made it. Even so I could not have done anything else due to a medical issue at the time. I was told I was inconsiderate of Dr. Duffy’s
I had saline rupture in one of my breasts. I had breast implants in 1986 in Charleston, SC. That doctor has since passed. The doctor in Myrtle Beach that I wanted to go to had then moved to Charlotte. A friend said the Dr Duffy was new in Myrtle Beach. So I went to him. The (2) surgeries I went through came out horrible. My left breast is so scarred and out of shape and he had to do surgery on that twice and still is not correct. I would NOT recommend him at all.
I decided to see Dr. Duffy on 44th Ave. North. I am so glad I did. He took outstanding medical precautions and the cost was less then a surgeon I used before. Dr. Duffy also spent a lot of time talking to me about what I hoped to gain from this procedure. His office staff, including Crystal McNight and Crystal LaBow, were extremely accommodating and spent a great deal of time going over the procedure and the post-op instructions. I am just a couple of days post op and very happy with results.
At the initial interview for breast reconstruction, Duffy declared, "You'll look good in clothes, but naked, you'll know you're reconstructed." The expanders he put in were high and to the outside. He insisted on 6 mos. before permanent implants. When I requested he re-consider due to insurance issues, he didn't examine me, but declared that woud be bad medicine, and he didn't practice bad medicine. FIRED. The doctor who finished the job said the expanders were anatomically incorrect.
Recently had saline breast implants removed due to rupture and had them replaced with new saline implants. Dr. Duffy's staff made my appointment to discuss my problem the day I phoned. I had surgery the next week. So far everything has been excellent. He did a great job of keeping my family informed of my progress after my surgery and I was given a next day post op follow-up at his office. Dr. Duffy and his staff are very professional and courteous.
Don't have one yet. He did surgery on my granddaughter face never came to tell us how she was did the surgery and never came to the room to inform us of her well being
