I lost use of my hand months after a shoulder surgery. I went to doctor Alex went months with no diagnosis. Then went for a nerve conduction study to determine carpal tunnel.Scheduled surgery and the most un human like suturing procedure that left a hole that never healed allowing for bacteria to enter just had to undergo second surgery to clean out infection spent 4 days in hospital. Would not recommend this doctor even to operate on my animals all he wants to do is sell you his aqua roll therapy. When they operated on me t... read more

Dr Alex is the very best in my opinion. I had very bad pain in my wrist and whole arm. The pain was so bad I could not sleep, and if I did sleep be woken due to the pain. The doctor saw me in the office and ordered a nerve conductivity study that indicated my problems. We scheduled a surgery date and within 24 after the surgery 90% of my pain was gone, gone after dealing with this pain for so long. I just (30 minutes ago) had my stitches removed and the wound looks fantastic, little scaring. Also I’m pain free and sleeping m... read more

Dr. Stephen Alex is a great doctor, I highly recommend him. His staff is very professional and friendly. The appointments are always on time, no waiting or wasting your time. Dr. Stephen performed excellent hand surgery on my husband. He takes the time to explain all procedures he is going to make and answers all questions about the healing process of the fracture my husband had (that needed a surgical repair). I am very grateful to him. He shows he is a knowledgeable doctor and a great, compassionate human being. He is the ... read more

There is a reason Dr. Alex has earned an excellent reputation. I had an 8:00 AM appointment and arrived 15 minutes early. The office was open and the pleasant receptionist gave me the necessary paper work I needed to fill out as a new patient. At 7:55 AM the x-ray tech escorted me to the x-ray room and took two films. Very cool x-ray machine. At 8:05 AM I met with Dr. Alex's PA (physician's assistant) who told me that what I had was not a bone cyst (as I had thought) but rather a ganglion cyst. She is quite knowledgeable and... read more

I am not one to write reviews but in Dr. Alex's case I feel compelled to share my experience. I had a hand injury that required immediate attention. Dr. Alex granted me an appointment without delay. I found him to have a fantastic bedside manner and incredible skill. His staff is/ was professional and helpful. His practice is well run and well organized. If I ever need another hand surgeon I will not hesitate to call on Dr. Alex again.

This guy is a first class a-hole. He may be the very best hand surgeon on the planet, but only if you agree to be operated on by him. When I turned down his recommendation for surgery for a broken pinky phalange, he called me stupid by stating that I needed "to use my brain." Talk about adding insult to injury. Furthermore, when I asked about alternative therapies, he said that there was a type of cast available but "that I had to pay for that," suggesting that the reason I didn't want surgery was that I was broke or worse, ... read more

Hi, My name is Paul and I would like to attest to Dr. Alex's skill and demeanor during my procedures. I had my hand ripped wide open and the Doc did an unbelievable job restoring it back to it's original capacity. His bedside manner is also more than professional, it's downright friendly and sincere. I also highly recommend his "little glass balls" treatment. If I could I'd show you a picture of my hand split wide open and peeled back from thumb to ring finger and the 6" scar barely now visible

Dr. Alex is a wonderful doctor whom I highly recommend. He is one of the best orthopedic hand surgeons and he is so devoted to his profession and his patients. I HIGHLY recommend him. I was a patient of his a few years ago after I broke my wrist and had a plate and screws inserted, great outcome. Then just recently my adult daughter had a hand fracture and he also did surgery on her placing a pin and then removing it. His office staff is very nice and professional. Wonderful doctor. 10 ??!
