My wife took our son to see this doctor today. Like any parents, we were concerned about his health and wanted answers. Instead of addressing our concerns properly, the doctor told my wife, "Maybe this is a culture thing you being worried about him" it's very dismissive and unprofessional behavior.
9 years ago Dr. Mendelson improperly treated my son. Please do not go to him for club foot treatment. My son ended up slipping from casts and getting a crease in the bottom of his foot that should not be there, this is called complex club foot and is caused by improper casting. I couldn't get a hold of them when the casts slipped off in the middle of the week. After that failed he still did the Achilles lengthening even though he wasn't corrected which lead to more slipped casts. His solution was another surgery and putting ... read more
I can't thank Dr Mendelson enough! He was the Angel my daughter needed at the time to put her femur joint back together again after a high impact tractor trailer/vehicle highway accident. She was his first patient at Northside Children's hospital in Youngstown Ohio. We followed him to Pittsburgh. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Mendelson. But I can say I don't understand the bad reviews. He had such an impact that my daughter became a RN. May God Bless you and your family Dr Mendelson!!!
Dr Mendleson has performed a few surgeries on our two daughters that have osteochondromas. (Bone spurs) He has done an incredible job and the girls have healed wonderfully. My one daughters legs are evenly straight now and she can walk normal. The spur he removed was larger than a golf ball and in a very tough spot. Thank you Dr Mendleson is not enough for the gratefulness we feel!!
