Had a retina detachment, he was doctor on duty, I had no choice, my fears came true, he caused permanent 80 % blindness in my left eye.

Dr DeSouza is not paid enough!!! My vision is almost completely back after my retinal detachment surgery.
I had several retina detachments and unfortunately Dr Desouza was one of the doctors that operated on one of the detacments.... I'm am currently 80% blind in my left eye and will never get my vision back .. other doctors said he just didnt attache the retina correctly.. that is why I give him 1 star.. all I remeber was him talking about camping while I was sedated....it just seemed he wasnt 100% engaged....I would not recommend ...
I got a swelling in my retina after five surgeries in my right eye trying to correct various problems. He has been trying to reduce my macular edema for two years now, patiently finding alternative treatments when none works. He arranged for me to get help with the cost of my current eye injections, which have the swelling way down. He never hurts me. I have confidence he knows what he is doing and is up on every latest treatment in the journals for my condition, and he is personable.
Has looked after my father for 5 years. Kept him seeing and driving. I love Dr De souza.

the doctor (Dr. Desouza) conducted a retina detachment surgery and all I remember was him talking about his weekend and what everybody did and how much fun they had. very little talk on my retina detachment and of course the surgery he did cused my to lose peripheral vision and i no longer see straight lines on my left eye. after the 3nd visits I went to another doctor.
