Worth the visit. Helped me where another urologist just blew me off.
Prompt, efficient, and patient. I have a long history due to complications from another urologist and this man explained it to me. He knew right away what was wrong but the last urolgist kept testing me. After my surgery with Dr. Karos, I am cured. Thank you for giving me my life back.
Really nice guy. Crowded waiting room. great bedside manner. to the point and concise. technically excellent-removed my kidney stone in 15 minutes after I suffered for 3 months while 2 other urologists told me it would pass. thanks doc.
I saw Dr. Karos once and that one visit was enough for me to know that he was incredibly rude. I am a diabled american and I recieve Medicare. He looked right at me and asked "why I use Medicare because it doesn't look like there's anything wrong with you." My mental problems are treated by my psychologist, I went to the urologist for completely separate problems. Avoid this guy. He is arrogant and had an aide in the room when examining me. Spoke to the aide about me in the third person...he, he,... I wasn't going accept his recomendation without a second opinion. He had no use for me after that. Thank God my primary care physician was able to recommend a better urologist who said I didn't need what Karos was recommending. I have been fine ever since.
Stay away from this doctor! He should not be in practice. He couldn't be any worse at diagnosis. After weeks and weeks of testing he could not find the problem. He was constantly late, arrogant, rude and condescending. Thank goodness my primary care doctor sent me elsewhere where the doctor diagnosed the problem right away.
Worst urologist in Worcester County. I would not bring my dog to this man. Karos has a God complex and thinks women are subservient to men. This man is rude, arrogant and needs to keep up on the latest research in urology, but doesn't. If you are in the mood for be belttled or berated, pease, by all means, call this doc.
excellent physician given the amount of crap that doctors need to do to give care. I needed a CT scan and my insurance required precertification and denied it. He actually got on the phone and spoke with the insurance company when they declined the xray. His staff then scheduled it and got me in the next day.
Rude and arrogant. He could not diagnose my problem (without even glancing at my lab work) so he brusquely told me there was nothing he could do. I went for a second opinion and THAT doctor actually looked at the lab work and correctly diagnosed me. Dr. Karos caused me to suffer for a week before I could get a second opinion. He is a terrible doctor. I could perhaps mitigate his inability to diagnose if he had seemed to care about helping me or if he even looked over my tests, medicine is after all not an exact science....bu... read more
