I started going to APC Brandon in January 2023 for my chronic pain. I was seeing Alexander F, with no complaints. He was an Amazing 5 star doctor. I was sad when he said he was moving up North. I started seeing Geoffrey J in June 2024. Because he was in the same Brandon office I stayed with APC and he was a 4 star doctor. In February 2025, I was told I needed to see Stanley D in the Tampa office; I don't know why. In 2021 they gave patients a break on office co-pays. In 2023 they attempted to extort money from patients to make up for this loss. They also own part of the surgery center and can contain any issues by using their own people to do ALL the billing. Dr. Jones was great.
The doctor also owner is fine. The staff has made at least 5 errors in scheduling our appointments, and that's a problem when you are dependent upon medicine that requires a visit and copay to refill. Staff shows no interest in helping resolve issues either.
Never met Dr Dennison until last month due to him covering Dr Jones patents . Long time patient of Dr Jones. Was dismissed from care by Dr Dennison because I did not want to schedule a surgery on an area of my neck that has been normal without an updated MRI stating that was an appropriate treatment plan and with out speaking to Dr Jones who has handle all my procedures. I am a C5-C6 quadriplegic for 24 years, currently hospitalized. My physiatrist and neurologist have prescribed essential medications to prevent Autonomic Dysreflexia, a life-threatening condition causing dangerously high blood pressure. Despite their expertise, Dr. Stanley Dennison frequently overrides these prescriptions. Awful experience & lost Dr Jones due to it. Never met this Dr in all the years of coming to this office until this week. Many years of being Dr Jones patient and have tried every treatment plan and had one that help with out too many invasive procedures. I was getting lidocaine injections every other month and was due for them which I didn’t get. Never have ever heard in the years of working in healthcare of another Dr dismissing another Drs patient simply because his patient felt comfortable with doing procedures with the Dr they have been working with for years. What are you trying to achieve without a new MRI by doing a procedure on a different area on a patient?I thought covering drs are to cover and maybe tweak medications and to give recommendations.
