Long time patient (daughter) who has multiple diagnosis; prescribes specific medications and when they aren't working you have to beg her to try something else. Have had genetic testing completed to guide med protocol, but will not utilize. Had my kiddo on an excessive amount of Adderall and only changed, after multiple requests, due to the shortage. My problem is her receptionist, Jennifer Kaplan who constantly interrupts me when I’m trying to explain what I need. She yells and almost screams at me on the phone. My husband heard her yelling and didn’t like it. This receptionist lacks manners, she is very rude, unfriendly and incompetent. She must be fired.
She is nice and caring. She’s a good psychiatrist. The major downside of going to see her is that every time I go, I wait at least 40 minutes in the waiting room before I get called back - even when I arrive on time.
If you have more than medical condition please do not see this woman. She can not coordinate my meds due to my Rheumatoid meds. I went to umich Rheumatology and psych due to how complicated my health history is. She is nice but you need ppl that can handle more than one diagnosis. She only spends not a lot of time in session with you. She never runs on time and your time with her is shortened. Please go elsewhere. Ppl deserve great care and not this.
Disrespectful of my time. She is often 30-45 minutes behind, even when we are the first appointment.
